Hyundai recommend petrol additive for all fuel injected petrol engine to keep the engine in prime condition. Primarily, it does following three functions.

a. Detergent : It maintains the cleanliness of injector nozzle and other fuel components from carbon and gummy deposit.

b. Dispersion : The dispersing agent completely dissolves small amounts of water in fuel, allowing its passage through filters and preventing it from icing in the fuel lines.

c. Corrosion Inhibitors : Protect injector tips and other fuel systems parts from excessive corrosion.
